Data Deletion Instructions
Use these instructions to disconnect Facebook from ShowSignal or request deletion of information associated with your ShowSignal account.
1. Disconnect Facebook
Sign in to ShowSignal, open Social Media Management, and choose Disconnect Facebook. This stops ShowSignal from using the connection and removes the stored authorization credentials from our active systems.
2. Remove ShowSignal from Facebook
You may also remove ShowSignal through your Facebook account settings under Business Integrations or Apps and Websites. Removing the integration prevents future access but does not, by itself, delete your ShowSignal account.
3. Request deletion
Email support@getshowsignal.com with the subject “Facebook Data Deletion Request.” Include the email address used for your ShowSignal account and the name of the connected Facebook Page. Do not send your password, access token, verification code, or App Secret.
4. What we delete
After verifying the request, ShowSignal will delete the active Facebook connection, stored authorization credentials, selected Page connection, and related personal information that is not required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement of opt-outs. Required records may be retained only for the applicable purpose and retention period.
5. Timing and confirmation
We aim to complete a verified deletion request within 30 days and will confirm completion by email. Information may remain temporarily in encrypted backups until those backups rotate out of service.
6. Delete the entire ShowSignal account
To request deletion of your full ShowSignal account and associated data, use the same email address and change the subject to “ShowSignal Account Deletion Request.” Additional identity verification may be required to protect the account.
