Terms of Service

1. Who operates ShowSignal

ShowSignal is owned and operated by Douglas Anthony Wanderscheid. ShowSignal provides services to users throughout the United States. In these Terms, “ShowSignal,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the platform and its operator. Questions may be sent to support@getshowsignal.com.

2. Beta service

ShowSignal is currently a limited beta. Features may be incomplete, simulated, changed, paused, or removed while the service is tested. We do not guarantee continuous availability, delivery results, audience reach, attendance, revenue, or performance by any third-party service.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You must provide accurate information, protect your login credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account and for selecting the correct artist, band, promoter, or venue workspace.

4. Acceptable use

You may use ShowSignal only for lawful music, comedy, entertainment, venue, and event-promotion activities. You must follow our Content Policy and may not misuse the platform, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape data, distribute malware, impersonate another person, or use ShowSignal for fraud, harassment, or illegal activity.

5. Fan contacts, email, and text messaging

You are responsible for every contact you upload or message. You may upload, email, or text only people for whom you have a lawful basis and all consent required for the intended communication. Purchased, scraped, harvested, guessed, or improperly shared contact lists are prohibited. You must honor unsubscribe, STOP, revocation, deletion, and similar requests promptly. ShowSignal may block a campaign or account when consent, list quality, identity, or compliance is uncertain.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant ShowSignal a limited, nonexclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, resize, format, display, and transmit that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and demonstrate the service you requested. You represent that you own the content or have permission to use it and that its use will not violate another person’s rights.

7. Third-party services

ShowSignal may connect with hosting, database, storage, analytics, email, SMS, and social-media providers. Their availability, rules, review processes, delivery systems, and account restrictions are outside our control. Your use of a third-party platform may also be governed by that platform’s terms.

8. Third-party platform compliance

Users are responsible for ensuring that all content they create, upload, schedule, or distribute through ShowSignal complies with applicable laws and the current terms, community guidelines, advertising policies, and content restrictions of each selected third-party platform.

Certain platforms, including TikTok, may prohibit or restrict content involving cannabis, marijuana, THC, CBD, hemp-derived products, controlled substances, alcohol, tobacco, vaping products, or other regulated goods. These restrictions may apply even when a product is legal in the user’s state, country, or jurisdiction.

ShowSignal does not review, approve, endorse, or guarantee the acceptance or continued availability of user-generated content on any third-party platform. ShowSignal is not responsible for rejected posts, removed content, reduced distribution, account restrictions, suspensions, terminations, loss of access, or other enforcement actions imposed by a third-party platform.

Users retain responsibility for their content and for deciding where that content is published. ShowSignal may refuse, suspend, or prevent the distribution of content that appears to violate applicable law, ShowSignal policies, or third-party platform requirements.

Third-party platform policies may change at any time. Users are responsible for reviewing the current policies of each connected platform before publishing content.

9. Fees

The current private beta may be offered without charge. We may introduce paid plans or usage fees later, but we will disclose applicable pricing and obtain agreement before charging you. Third-party carrier, data, messaging, or platform fees may still apply.

10. Suspension and termination

We may remove content, limit features, suspend campaigns, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, fans, third parties, or the platform; comply with law; investigate suspected abuse; or enforce these Terms and the Content Policy. You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the beta service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, uninterrupted operation, delivery, reach, or results. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, ShowSignal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the beta, third-party services, message delivery, account access, content, or event outcomes. Any liability that cannot be excluded will be limited to the amount you paid ShowSignal during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Applicable federal law and nonwaivable rights in your state continue to apply.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms as the beta develops. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and, when appropriate, communicated through the service or by email. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
