01What is ShowSignal?

ShowSignal is a live-entertainment marketing and fan-communication platform for independent artists, bands, venues, and promoters.
It brings event management, social media publishing, direct fan communication, and performance analytics together in one place.
02Is ShowSignal another social media platform?

No.
ShowSignal works alongside social media while helping artists build a direct connection with their audience. During beta, opted-in fans can receive show announcements through email. Fans may also record permission for future text alerts, but SMS delivery is not yet active.
03Who can use ShowSignal?

ShowSignal is being developed for:

04Why was ShowSignal created?

ShowSignal was created because artists spend too much time repeatedly promoting the same show across multiple platforms without knowing whether their fans actually saw it.
It was also created to reach fans who enjoy live entertainment but do not use social media.
05How does ShowSignal work?

Create your show once, enter the event information, upload your promotional media, and choose where you want it published.
ShowSignal can then publish the announcement across selected social media outlets and send it directly to fans who have opted in to receive email. Text-message consent can be collected during beta, but SMS delivery remains disabled.
06Which social media outlets are currently supported?

ShowSignal currently supports publishing to:
- TikTok
Artists can also communicate directly with opted-in fans through:
- Email (active)
- Text-message consent collection (SMS delivery is not yet active)
07Why aren’t X/Twitter, ReverbNation, or Bandsintown included?

X/Twitter, ReverbNation, and Bandsintown are not currently available because of restrictions on third-party integrations.
These services may be added later if their integration policies and technical access allow ShowSignal to support them properly.
08Does ShowSignal replace Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok?

No.
Social media remains an important promotional tool. ShowSignal makes those platforms easier to manage while giving artists an additional way to reach their audience directly.
09Do fans have to install an app?

No.
Fans will not be forced to download an app. They can discover shows through Find a Show, choose email updates, and record permission for future text alerts. SMS delivery is not yet active.
10Can artists contact anyone by email or collect text permission?

No.
Fans must voluntarily opt in before receiving email or recording permission for future text notifications. Each fan decides how they want to be contacted and may change their preferences or opt out. SMS delivery remains disabled during beta.
11Can fans search for shows near them?

Yes.
Find a Show allows fans to search for upcoming live entertainment based on location. This helps fans discover performances nearby, including when they are traveling.
12How far in advance can I schedule a show?

ShowSignal is designed to support show planning and scheduling at least 12 months in advance.
Announcements may be published immediately. Scheduled social publishing is currently available for Facebook and Instagram; TikTok publishing is immediate only.
13Can I upload a flyer or promotional video?

Yes.
Artists can upload a show flyer or supported promotional video. Video formatting requirements may vary depending on the selected social media outlet.
Promotional videos are processed for publishing and are not intended to be permanently stored on ShowSignal’s servers.
14What happens if a show is canceled or the artist drops off the event?

The show can be updated or canceled through the dashboard.
Artists can publish a cancellation notice and notify opted-in fans through selected communication outlets when appropriate.
15Does ShowSignal guarantee that every fan will see a social media post?

No platform can guarantee that an algorithm will display every post to every follower.
ShowSignal addresses that problem by combining social publishing with direct email communication to fans who have chosen to receive updates. Text-message delivery is planned but remains disabled during beta.
16What information will the analytics provide?

ShowSignal is designed to organize results by individual show and post, including:
- Which outlets successfully received the announcement
- Which outlets require attention
- Post engagement
- Audience activity
- Geographic development of the artist’s fan base
As more information is collected, artists can use that data to make better promotional, booking, scheduling, and touring decisions.
17Is adult content allowed?

No.
Adult content and nudity are strictly prohibited. Promotional material must comply with ShowSignal’s content policies and the rules of each connected social media outlet.
Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.
18How much does ShowSignal cost?

Private beta access is currently offered without charge.
Pricing and plan information will be announced before the platform becomes publicly available.
ShowSignal is currently accepting applications for the beta development program.
19Can I access the survey data used to develop ShowSignal?

No.
The survey responses, underlying research, and collected market information are proprietary property of ShowSignal and are not available for public distribution.
Serious investor inquiries should be directed to the owner. A formal offer or proposal must be submitted before any investment opportunity will be considered.
20Will technical support be handled entirely by an AI bot?

Short answer: No.
Long answer: No.
ShowSignal will provide access to human support. During beta testing and periods of high demand, responses may take approximately 24–48 hours.
21Does ShowSignal offer artist follow pages?

Yes. ShowSignal now provides public artist follow pages where fans can find an artist and choose available notifications.
More customizable profile features may be added later, including additional links to:

- Social media pages
- Merchandise
- Videos
- Upcoming shows
- Other artist-related content
The current follow pages are active during beta. The expanded profile features listed above are still planned for a future phase.
