ShowSignal

OUR STORY

Built from Experience.
Driven by Frustration.
Created for Independent Artists.

40+Years in music

Music has been part of my life for more than 40 years.

I am a musician, business owner, and strategist who understands what it takes to promote an event without a major record label, a professional marketing department, or a million-dollar advertising budget behind you.

01

The problem was not a lack of effort.
The problem was the system.

When I became involved in the local music scene again, I saw the same problems everywhere.

Artists were spending hours promoting shows across multiple platforms. Venues were frustrated because bands were not reaching enough people. Fans who genuinely wanted to attend were sometimes seeing show announcements days late—or after the event had already happened.

02

WHEN YOUR AUDIENCE IS NOT TRULY YOURS

If a social media platform can remove your access overnight, how much control do you actually have over the audience you worked to build?

After approximately 18 years on Facebook, my account was permanently suspended.

I lost access to years of contacts and content, along with a band page and a business page that I had spent years developing.

Social media is still an important promotional tool, but independent artists should not have to depend entirely on an algorithm—or one company—to maintain a connection with their fans.

03

FROM A PROBLEM TO A PLAN

I had years of firsthand experience, a problem that needed to be solved, and a vision I wanted to bring to life.

I did not have a team of developers behind me.

I did not have a group of so-called marketing experts telling me what independent artists needed.

Before building ShowSignal, I listened.

I spoke with musicians, fans, venue representatives, and promoters. I conducted market research and collected survey responses to better understand how much time artists spend promoting, how many platforms they use, and how often their fans actually see their announcements.

The research confirmed what many of us already felt:

Artists are doing the work. The available technology is making that work more complicated than it needs to be.

WHY I BUILT SHOWSIGNAL

A more direct, organized, and efficient way to promote shows.

ShowSignal was created to give independent artists a more direct, organized, and efficient way to promote their shows.

It does not replace social media. It brings social publishing together while helping artists build a direct connection with fans who voluntarily choose email updates and may record permission for future text notifications.

It also gives fans who do not use social media a way to discover shows and stay connected to the artists they want to support.

This platform was built to help artists spend less time repeating promotional tasks and more time creating, rehearsing, performing, and building meaningful relationships with their audience.

BUILT FOR THE PEOPLE WHO KEEP LIVE MUSIC ALIVE

ShowSignal was not created in a corporate boardroom.

It was built from decades of experience, firsthand frustration, careful research, and a genuine desire to give something back to my peers in the entertainment industry.

I saw the problem.I researched it.Then I decided to build the solution.
Your Show.Your Crowd.Your Control.
